TSUM will Hendle a Reconstruction of the Underground Crosswalk (Vesti. Kyiv issue)
24.02.2015Stolichny TSUM Company (incorporated into ESTA Group dealing with TSUM reconstruction) will reconstruct the underground crosswalk between B. Khmelnytskoho Street and Khreshchatyk Street. These are the results of the investment tender initiated by Kyiv City State Administration.
“When implementing this project, among other matters, we will have an opportunity to repair and renovate the interior filling of the crosswalk and arrange an additional entrance in the Central Department Store,” the Press Service of Kyiv City State Administration reports. InTSUM it is planned to make an entrance from the crosswalk into the underground floor, where there will be located men’s stores. “Our main goal is to make the crosswalk as comfortable and safe for Kyiv residents as possible. That’s why the company plans not only to reconstruct the interior finishing of the underground crosswalk but also to replace utilities and lighting system in order to make it energy efficient, and to place here the infrastructure facilities, such as information terminals, ATMs, etc. Very careful attention will be paid to people with disabilities. We also study technical feasibility of arranging a separate exit from the underground crosswalk into the TSUM building. At the same time, it is not planned to equip retail outlets in the underground crosswalk,” reported to Vesti Mikhail Sakun, Development Director of ESTA Holding.
